Hi, I’m LAUREN.

:YOGA STUDENT :500 HOUR CERTIFIED YOGA TEACHER :REIKI MASTER :SOUND JOURNEY FACILITATOR :THAI MASSAGE PRACTITIONER :MEDITATION GUIDE :SACRED SPACE CREATOR

I was introduced to Vinyasa yoga in 2007 and used it only as a means to stay active when I could squeeze in a class between working fulltime and solo parenting. It wasn’t until 2015 when I came to my mat to find Me. I was lost and searching for the person that I wanted to be. My life was turned upside down and I was in a very dark place. I slowly began finding bits and pieces of myself and put them back together. In 2018 the opportunity to take the next step in my personal yoga journey presented itself and I grabbed onto that life preserver. Yoga teacher training is one of the most incredible experiences of my life. I completed my 200 hour training with Awake to My Soul in 2019 with an open heart and an abundance of gratitude for this practice. Yoga helped me find myself, the version of Lauren that I have always wanted to be. In 2020 I chose to continue my training with Awake to My Soul. I wanted to dive deeper into the history and roots of the practice that saved my life. My 300 hour training was more than I ever imagined it could be. I fell deeply in love with my practice, integrating each aspect of yoga into my daily ritual. I began to live the practice of yoga as a way of life.

I studied the sacred bodywork practice of Thai massage in 2022 with Kevin Lynch, through the direct lineage of Shivagakomarpaj of the Old Medicine Hospital in Chiang Mai, Thailand. This beautiful practice is a wonderful addition to those seeking whole body, mind, and soul healing and wellness.

I would love to meet you exactly where you are on Your journey. Breathe with you. Move beside you. Sit and be present.
